INFORMATION

The first complete edition of Marko Cheremshyna's works in three volumes. The first volume contains the early collection of novellas "Karby," published in 1901, the novellas "Kermanych," "Nechaiana smert," and others — all of Cheremshyna's works from 1895–1901. The second volume covers the works from 1914–1927, divided between the collections "Selo vyhybaie" (the ruins of a village during the war) and "Verkhovyna" (the post-war life of a Hutsul village), and concludes with a collection of poetic works dedicated to Vasyl Stefanyk. The third volume contains the author's diary from the war years, selected letters, the writer's autobiography, articles about T. Shevchenko, and more.

Marko Cheremshyna (1874–1927), real name Ivan Yuriiovych Semanyuk, — a Ukrainian writer and public figure, lawyer, doctor of law. Cheremshyna's literary legacy consists of about 60 works, not including publicist contributions in periodicals and poetic attempts.
