Later blue binding with the title and year stamped in gold; the issues are preserved with their original colored covers and sewn together. The paper is yellowed, the binding is in very good condition. Condition: good.

INFORMATION

“Vyzvolnyi Shliakh” was the journal of the foreign units of the OUN, published in London from 1948 and becoming one of the main periodicals of the Bandera movement in exile. The 1951 issues were still modestly produced using mimeograph technology with printed title pages; they combine political articles, news of the struggle of the UPA and the underground in Ukraine, insurgent carols, poetry, and letters to the editor.

Early annuals of “Vyzvolnyi Shliakh” are rarely fully preserved: issues were passed around, and mimeographed paper does not withstand the test of time well. Here is a complete year, neatly collected in a single binding.
